Paris Saint-Germain Wins Record 12th Title
PARIS, FRANCE – 28 April 2024 – With three matches left to go of the 2023-2024 Ligue 1 season, Paris Saint-Germain has been crowned French champions for the twelfth time: the 32nd trophy during the Qatar Sports Investments era, and the 50th trophy in the Club’s history.
Paris Saint-Germain has finished top of Ligue 1 on ten occasions since 2011, when Qatar Sports Investments first took over – making it the most successful football Club in France’s history.
It is the second title of the 2023-2024 season for Paris Saint-Germain, following the Trophée des Champions win over Toulouse (2-0) at the Parc des Princes in January.
Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, Chairman of Qatar Sports Investments and President of Paris Saint-Germain:
“Winning the league is fantastic, but to win Ligue 1 for the 12th time makes it even more special for everyone connected to Paris Saint-Germain.
Congratulations to all the players, our coach Luis Enrique and his staff, Luis Campos and his sports department, and everyone at the Club.
Since the very beginning of the season, the team has been so collective and united. I will also never forget the fans, who have been amazing whatever the result.
We will treasure this moment together as a family. And also continue to work hard, match by match, until the last moment of the season.”
