Nasser Al-Khelaïfi carries Olympic Torch
PARIS, FRANCE – 23 July 2024 – Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, Chairman of Qatar Sports Investments (QSI), was invited to carry the Olympic Torch ahead of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
Accompanied by a large number of spectators, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi carried the Olympic Torch through the streets of Vigneux-sur-Siene, as it entered the final week of its tour across France.
QSI-owned Paris Saint-Germain will see 26 athletes from 10 different countries take part in the Olympics. The Parc des Princes will also host 10 matches throughout the event.
“It was an immense honour to carry the Olympic Torch and Flame of Paris 2024, representing such powerful symbols of unity, friendship and peace. Paris Saint-Germain is so proud that 26 of our male and female athletes – across men’s and women’s football, handball and judo – are competing in the Games, and we look forward to a magnificent sporting spectacle in our home city of Paris”, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, Chairman of Qatar Sports Investments.
